Good antique moonphase grandfather clock
This is a very nice antique longcase clock that weve got from a recent probate clearance. The clock is very tall standing aprox 8ft tall/22 inches wide and about 11 inches deep. The case is in reasonably good condition needing maybe a couple of little bits doing to it.Its mahogany cased with loads of inlay stringing and standing on ogee feet. The painted dial features a moonphase with pictures of a house and a ship on it.The 8 day movement comes with original brass cased weights and will be serviced by our clockmaker prior to dispatch so will be in full working order. This is a very good looking clock that would look very very good in a large house.

Good 18th century bracket clock
This is a very nice quality 18th century double fusee bracket clock. The clock uses a cable driven fusee wich is ticking a way like mad hence the piece of white cardboard on the back.It stands aprox 20 inches high excluding handle,11.5 inches wide and 7 inches deep.Basicly its a solid clock but has a few minor faults. The dial has been repainted, the back door has a few chips on the corners(see pics),the front door locking latch is missing so the door doesnt close properly. Its also got a little bit of the back foot missing .All that said, its all silly little bits wich dont make a lot of difference when its sitting on a mantlepiece. The clock has been wound and is running well and strikes the hours correctly and when you pull the repeat that works ok.Ive listed the case as Mahogany but to be honest im pretty sure its actualy red walnut wich makes it a bit unusual. This is a good looking clock that represents good value for money

18th century gothic bracket clock needing a bit of tlc
This is a very impressive looking clock that we bought in off of one of our local customers recently. Its basicly an 18th century gothic looking bracket clock with repeating twin chain driven fusee movement. The clock has been in the hands of a diy"er and basicly needs to be restored properly. The case has been "ebonised"using whats probably black paint, the chapter ring/door lock/door hinges/bell have all been replaced with modern ones wich wouldnt look to bad if they were toned down a bit.The movement may or may not be the original but if this is the case its not to uncommon and to cap it all it only runs for a while before stopping. All that said it is a very impressive looking clock that when rerstored properly will look a million dollars. The movement strikes and repeats the hours and is signed on the back plate"GRANT ,FLEET ST,LONDON".It stands aprox 20 inches high/15 inches wide and 9 inches deep. There you have it,a great project for somebody wich when done will be a great looking antique clock.

Good 18th century oak longcase clock
This is a very nice looking 18th century longcase clock that weve just bought from a local probate clearance. Its an Oak cased cottage longcase wich stands about 6ft 4 inches high,17 inches wide and 9 inches deep.It houses a 30 hr striking movement with date aperture and rare penny moon feature. The clock is in very good used condition and the movement looks to have been restored within the last couple of years. The top of the hood shows evidence of woodworm wich has long since been eradicated and when ive wiped it over with a bit of black wax it wont even notice. The lovely old brass dial is in very good condition and is signed"W Nicholson Whitehaven".This is a very nice antique longcase thats a good size to fit in most properties without looking over the top and is in full working order.

This will need to be collected or if local can be delivered and set up by our clockmaker.
